Eluru, Andhra Pradesh, Apr 12: An 82-year old woman Gollapudi Prabhavathi appeared for a degree examination in B R Ambedkar University at Nallarjela village on Sunday.
Prabhavathi, hailing from Tadepalligudem town in west Godavari district said that she wanted to become a lawyer in her younger days. But she could not realise here ambition due to her family commitments.
She was president of `Rashtreeya Sevika Samakhya` (women`s wing of RSS) and got married in 1948 to a lawyer.
Her husband, brother-in-law , four sons and grand children are all lawyers. This motivated her to attend the examination.
She said she was a matriculate and after completing graduation, she would study for a law degree.
